Qamar Construction was founded by Zain Hassanali, a commercial construction professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience across the Texas market. After years of working on commercial projects of every type, Zain recognized an underserved need: healthcare practitioners in Houston couldn't find a contractor who truly understood the unique demands of medical facility construction.
General contractors could build the walls — but they didn't understand dental operatory plumbing, infection control HVAC requirements, medical gas systems, or how to navigate Texas DSHS licensing for outpatient facilities. Practitioners were left to bridge that knowledge gap themselves, coordinating between their contractor, their equipment vendor, and regulatory agencies — while also trying to build a practice.
